Zhuofan received her Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Toronto in 2017 after earning her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in China. While at the University of Toronto, her thesis, “Desert River Water Conservation” received a 2017 ASLA Analysis and Planning Student Honor Award. Additionally, she also participated in the “Toronto Ravine Re-Create” studio which received the Sloan Award from the Journal of the American Institute of Architects. Prior to joining TLA, Zhuofan’s professional experience included large-scale landscape master plans, waterfront design to ecological restoration across Canada and Mainland China.
Zhuofan is interested in ecological restoration and how to use design to promote urban ecological and social resilience. She also enjoys exploring how landscape architecture interacts with installation art.
