Streetscape revitalisation receives TABIA Award

The Plunkett and Satterly streetscape revitalization plan in the Emery Village Business Improvement Area has won a 2013 TABIA award for Large Streetscape.

This project involved the addition of colourful paving, seating, shade trees, and other features along Plunkett Street and Satterly to enhance the experience of the neighbourhood and to identify it as part of the Emery Village BIA.

Terraplan has worked with Emery Village BIA since 2006, helping to shape its streetscape identity, and have won multiple awards together for this work.

TABIA is short for Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas, a non-profit umbrella organization working with the over 74 Business Improvement Areas within the City of Toronto who in turn represent more than 35,000 business & property owners.
